Even if you want to improve your facial appearance or eliminate issues like bruxism with Botox, you may not like the idea of having the procedure done with a needle. This can cause you to become tense or unable to sit still, which can then affect our ability to perform the procedure. As oral surgeons, we have plenty of tools that can help to make the process easier and more comfortable. One way we can do this with nitrous oxide. This is a form of mild sedation that helps to take the edge off so you can relax more easily. We can also use a topical cream such as EMLA to numb the skin before your treatment. |
