Meet Dr. Lim

Dr. Mark Lim is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who is excited to call the DFW area his new home. He was born in South Korea and grew up in a small town in South Georgia. Dr. Lim completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. At Louisville, he graduated with Honors near the top of his class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Dental Honor Society.

Upon graduating from dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at Vidant Medical Center/East Carolina University in North Carolina and an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship at the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York. Dr. Lim subsequently completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Lim’s training in residency included experience in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implant surgery, anesthesia, orthognathic surgery, facial reconstruction, facial cosmetics, cleft and craniofacial surgery, trauma surgery, and oral pathology.

Dr. Lim has a passion for treating patients, which was instilled in him at a young age when he witnessed the impact a caring provider can have on someone’s life. He genuinely cares about providing the best medical and surgical care for all of his patients.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, tennis, fishing, hunting, trying new restaurants, and
traveling. He is dedicated to his patients and strives to provide the best experience to better serve his community.
